Previous Years' Projects

7th grade world language field trip
7th grade Chinese and Spanish students traveled to Wenatchee to experience a range of cultural activities, including lunch at an ethnic restaurant, scavenger hunts in a Mexican and Oriental market, a martial arts lesson and cultural activities. This year students had the opportunity to learn authentic Chinese games and salsa dancing.

3rd and 4th grades learn to play the violin
Suzuki Violin Instruction
In partnership with Pipestone Music, PSFA provides 3rd and 4th graders an opportunity to learn how to play the violin.

As quoted by their instructor, Pam Hunt, "I love the enthusiasm these young students have for learning. In this class they learn so many character building skills such as self-motivation, patience, determination, time management, self-discipline, overcoming frustration, tolerance of others, concentration, respect and leadership."
