TOTAL PROJECTS FUNDED FOR THE
2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR: $80,237
Through hands on experiences and in partnership with Classroom In Bloom, students “dig” in deep to gardening, composting, food preparation and nutrition.
To complete the second and final year of the Methow Valley Elementary
Library Revitalization project, PSFA funded $10,000 of new books and learning
materials that coordinate with students' International Baccalaureate units.
With financial backing from PSFA, 7th grade students utilized their math skills through the study of housing. Local architect, Margo Aspholm, along with Housing Trust director, Danica Ready and Liberty Bell math teacher Carrie Fink helped students design and build these scale houses.
